QUOTES FOR THE DAY

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” ~ George Bernard Shaw

“Money is like gasoline during a road trip. You don’t want to run out of gas on your trip, but you’re not doing a tour of gas stations. You have to pay attention to money, but it shouldn’t be about the money.” ~ Tim O’Reilly

“Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.” ~ Frank Tyger

“In the end, it’s not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.“ ~ Shing Xiong

the Mask

I don't understand why some people loose their time putting themselves behind a mask.
Go search for your inner self. Be free

Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.  ~Judy Garland

We are so accustomed to disguise ourselves to others that in the end we become disguised to ourselves.  ~François Duc de La Rochefoucauld

Most people are other people.  Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.  ~Oscar Wilde

Movie quotes Unthinkable

Every man, no matter how strong he is, lies to himself about something.  by H.

What you call Freedom is a false god.   Younger

How much do we value our freedom? is what this movie is all about.

Faced with extenuating circumstances, what would we do? "Unthinkable" is a very current, undebatably intense uneasy ride down a steep, winding and twisting tunnel.

Unthinkable is an American suspense thriller film directed by Gregor Jordan and starringSamuel L. Jackson, Michael Sheen and Carrie-Anne Moss.

A movie that provides plenty of food for thought

Viktor Frankl insight of the searching for meaning

Forces beyond your control can take away everything you possess except one thing, your freedom to choose how you will respond to the situation. You cannot control what happens to you in life, but you can always control what you will feel and do about what happens to you.

Life is not primarily a quest for pleasure, as Freud believed, or a quest for power, as Alfred Adler taught, but a quest for meaning.

quotes:

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing; the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.

In our response lies our growth and our freedom

Tuesday

My little short story

Am afraid she is not in. The chancellor has given back what belongs to her and she is long gone. You can try and see if you can catch up with her by nightfall, riding a horse is much faster than her tiny feet... and don’t worry about me! I was born here, and meant to die here. I have no right to freedom; my freedom is being able to sing at dawn with the birds, to bathe with the fish by the sea. My freedom has and always will be my own living experiences and how I see them through.
